One of the first games to use DirectX 11 on PC, it’s RELOADED with DiRT 2. I have played this on the 360 and it’s a very nice game. From the screenshots it looks very nice on the PC! I doubt much people have a DX11 graphics card just yet, I have a GTX280 at the moment but I’m hoping that there wont really be a big difference between DX10 and DX11 with this game. Maybe one of those patches will come out, like for Crysis where you could unlock the DX10 features on DX9.

Description: Following on the success of the original Dirt as well as a decade of videogame development in partnership with the late Colin McRae, DiRT 2 explores various disciplines of off-road racing. Dirt 2 features a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to the most diverse and challenging real-world environments. Pokračovanie populárneho rally pokračuje v šľapajach prvého dielu, opäť teda ponúkne pretekanie v naozaj širokej škále rôznych vozov a na rovnako bohatej ponuke odlišných tratí. Kamióny, buginy, rally špeciály, rallycrossové autá a ďalšie vozy budete preháňať v rôzne stavaných pretekoch na celej rade okruhov a tratí, v prírode i na štadiónoch.

Druhý diel je umiestnený do nebezpečného prostredia, akým je napríklad nepriepustná džungľa v Malajzii alebo kaňon v Utahu, ale i napríklad mestský štadión v Londýne. Garáž ukrýva bohatú kolekciu oficiálne licencovaných rally automobilov a offroadových vehiklov, ktoré boli starostlivo vybrané pre agresívnu a rýchlu jazdu. Od samého začiatku budete mať navyše prístup ku všetkým 7 triedam vozov.

Hra beží na vylepšenom EGO engine a okrem plnohodnotného singleplayeru i online multiplayeru prichádza s komunitnými prvkami a radom vylepšení v oblasti vizuálneho spracovania. Hlavný singleplayer mód – World Tour – už nemá pyramídovú podobu. Hráč bude svojmu jazdcovi budovať reputáciu, úspešným pretekaním a plnením úloh bude získavať náklonnosť strategických partnerov a tým si sprístupňovať nové súboje, ktoré ho dovedú až na samotný vrchol – k titulu najvšestrannejšieho pretekára vo virtuálnom svete.
